Project description: The Project consists in the laying of 200,000 m of tertiary distribution networks, including the installation of valves, washouts and air chamber valves in 11 cities in Cameroon. It includes also the construction of the Maroua University drinking water supply system as well as the extension and densification of the drinking water supply systems in Banyo and Garoua cities.

Project description: The project aims to rehabilitate and build water supply systems

within the whole country. The contract is divided in 5 phases (Tranches T1, T2, T3, T4 and T5).

Cameroon – C1 - 11 centers


C1.1 Bafoussam – West, densification of the distribution network

  • Laying of a 17 km of HDPE OD 63, OD 90, OD 110 and OD 160 pipes

T1.2 Douala – Coast, Rehabilitation work including

  • Replacement of a 30 years old ductile iron pipe under the Wouri bridge (720 m, HDPE OD 400 SDR 11)
  • Installation of a 420 m ductile iron DN 500 pipe along one of the busiest street of the city to reinforce the primary network
  • Rehabilitation of a 2.550 m3/h pumping station in Ndogbong (replacement of pumps, pipe work, replacement of electrical control panel, replacement of transformer sub-station and installation of a new MV underground power cable).

T1.3 Jikejem-Oku – North-West, New system including

  • Construction of a river weir
  • Construction of a sedimentation tank
  • Construction of a chlorination station
